Developing a more sustainable clothing culture
This is a resource for Textiles teachers. In this learning sequence, students investigate how fibres are produced and marketed. With textiles being one of the fastest growing domestic waste streams, they are challenged to envision, generate and design a pitch about how they can grow a more sustainable clothing culture. Students then sell their ‘pitch’ as part of a ‘Sustainability with Style’ pitch competition.
